For more than 20 years, Anna Beyer has dedicated her career to criminal defense. Working alongside Attorney James Davis, she has helped successfully represent thousands of individuals facing a wide range of criminal charges throughout Jacksonville and North Florida.
As a lifelong Jacksonville resident, Anna has witnessed firsthand the impact the criminal justice system can have on individuals and families. After watching loved ones struggle with the consequences of inadequate legal representation, she realized her purpose was to help defend those who could not effectively defend themselves.
After earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy from the University of North Florida, Anna became a Florida Registered Paralegal. She has served as Office Manager for James Davis Defense for more than 15 years, working closely with James Davis in the preparation of pleadings, motions, legal briefs, and case strategy. It is not uncommon to find Anna reviewing recently decided appellate cases or researching Florida statutes to help ensure clients receive the highest level of representation possible.
Anna is passionate about both the legal and personal sides of criminal defense. While she enjoys tackling complex legal issues and assisting with case preparation, she believes every client deserves the time, attention, and communication necessary to understand what is happening in their case.
