National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws is Helping to Change Florida Law

Many major changes in marijuana laws have already occurred in states across the nation, with many more well-organized movements taking shape, including the one currently gaining momentum in the state of Florida. While these changes are positive, the rapid pace at which they have came about can, admittedly, result in more than a little confusion among those who are trying to stay informed on marijuana legalization issues.

NORML Works Toward Making Positive Changes in Marijuana Laws

The National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (NORML) is an organization helping to clarify this confusion, while continuing to support the momentum for change. NORML has adopted a mission based on helping the public understand the benefits of responsible, marijuana usage for adults and the need to make sure that access to legal marijuana is safe, affordable, and convenient, throughout the nation.

Florida Chapter of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws Seeks Local Change

Chapters meet locally to actively work toward bringing about necessary changes in current marijuana laws at municipal, state, and federal levels. Made up of volunteers from all walks of life and areas of the state, Florida’s Chapter of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws is dedicated to educating the community on the real benefits of hemp and marijuana, including those that offer tremendous potential for medical and industrial applications.

Legal Professionals See the Damage From the Front Lines

As a respected professional in the state’s legal community, Jacksonville attorney James Davis has witnessed the financial, emotional, and family hardships that have come from overzealous regulation of marijuana in his own practice. Davis and his staff understands why decriminalizing responsible adult usage of this plant is the important first step toward relieving this unnecessary burden on their clients and every one of Florida’s citizens.
